It has been a long and challenging journey, one that has taken me both physically and emotionally to different places. The battles fought, the injuries endured, and the persistent self-doubt with the recurring question, “Is this really worth it?” — it was undoubtedly worth every moment. This journey has spanned 15 years, and while I am thrilled that it has culminated in my promotion to the rank of Black Belt, I am keenly aware that the true journey has only just begun. All those years of relentless training were merely the warm-up. Martial arts is not a seasonal pursuit but a lifelong commitment.

People often ask me how it feels, and all I can express is that it feels weighty; I understand that this is a role I must grow into, yet I am prepared. I have been prepared. I eagerly anticipate many more years of training, and perhaps competing in tournaments. Osu!
