It had been over a decade since I’d seen some of the people who came out to this art event. The past two years have been rough, but lately I’ve been getting back to my personal work, much like I did 15 years ago, just creating, experimenting, and finding new ways to bring my ideas to life.
Attending the latest Basement Session reignited my desire to paint large-scale artwork. Since that night, I’ve been painting constantly. About two weeks later, I picked up this canvas and started working on it.
I’ll share the final piece next week.
